Mora Knife Contest Winner(s) Announced

We asked, and you answered. Our ‘Win A Mora Knife’ contest inspired some heated competition. But the dust has settled, and I’ve made my choice. A ‘Military’ Mora like the one shown here is headed to reader The Last Marine Out. Semper Fi, and don’t forget to write us up a short review. But wait! There’s Mora! . . .

Thanks to the incredibly low price of these Swedish knives, I got a package deal for three of them that came up cheaper than a single US-made Kershaw folder. So I picked *another* winner, and Stephen Spaulding is now waiting for his Mora ‘Utility’ knife like this one.

Thanks to all who responded, and congratulations to our two winners. I’ll get your prizes in the mail next week after they arrive here. Use them and abuse them, and don’t forget to take a few pictures for us!

  1. Way to go Chris! Have fun you two lucky guys with your new Mora knives and lets us know what your experience are with them.

  2. I have that military version and it is the sharpest knife I’ve ever bought. I have to be very careful with it and it’s tip is very sharp too. Mora knives seem to be the best value possible. For $10-15 you can get a knife that’ll out cut knives that cost ten times more.

  3. Hey guys! I just got in my new Condor Barong Machete with a 14″ blade. It feels great to hold and looks very well made. I am going to attach a lanyard with 550 para-cord to the blade for safety. I haven’t tested it yet though so far for $38 at Amazon it looks like a good value. BTW, it comes with a very stout leather sheath.
