Are you a neck knife noodnik? Not I. The thought of a weighty blade bopping around on my chest all day just doesn’t do if for me. But if it does it for you, you’ll probably want to check out Boker’s new Rob Amsler-designed Mini Slik. Did I say heavy? Boker minimizes the Mini Slik’s weight by making that interesting handle out of titanium. The blade is 440C and comes with a Kydex sheath. MSRP is $51.95 so look for a street price somewhere around $40 or so . . .

Lakewood, Colorado (October 8, 2013) – Boker USA is pleased to offer the new Boker Plus Mini Slik.

A truly interesting piece from Rob Amsler, whose knives are characterized by the generous use of

titanium and futuristic designs. With the new Mini Slik, we opted for a neck knife with maximum

versatility.

The Mini Slik allows superior performance for everyday cutting chores with its tanto style blade, made

of 440C stainless steel. With a thickness of 4mm, this sturdy blade is also suitable for delicate cutting

tasks with its fine, thinly ground tip. The titanium handle scales are complemented with a lanyard and

anodized titanium bead.

Includes a Kydex sheath for easy carry. Blade length: 2⅛”. Overall length: 4⅞”. Weight: 1.7 oz.

Suggested retail price: $51.95.

  2. Mark N. says:

Don’t try this one in California. Fixed bladed knives must be carried openly. Put it under your short on a neck thong and you are committing a felony.

Those things are badass. Watch the video on his YouTube. There’s a pikal version too.
