Hell hath no fury like a woman who finds nude pictures of another woman on your cell phone. I don’t speak from personal experience here, but we can all learn from the sad tale of Alec Katsnelson. When his girlfriend saw a naked selfie from some other broad on his cell phone, prosecutors say she attacked him with two steak knives and nearly killed him.
Katsnelson testified in the trial of ex-girlfriend Yekaterina Pusepa in New York City on November 14th. The NY Daily News takes it from here:
Katsnelson, a St. John’s University dropout and former night manager of a Duane Reade drugstore, said he and Pusepa got into an argument May 11, 2012, when he received a nude photo on his cell phone from a woman while they were out at a bar.
“I tried to reason with her,” said Katsnelson, adding the fight only intensified when they reached his Gold St. apartment in the Financial District.
He said she ignored his apologies for 40 minutes before retrieving two 12-inch steak knives from the kitchen.
“As soon as I saw the knives, I got scared,” he said.
Pusepa came at him with the knives extended, screaming “I hate you! I hate you!” Katsnelson said. He said she backed him into a wall and he knocked one of the knives out of her hand.
“The knife, it flew. I don’t know where it went,” Katsnelson said. Then, he said, Pusepa stabbed him in the chest with the other blade.
Twelve-inch steak knives? That dude must eat some pretty righteous steaks. But I digress, because this is where the story stopped being funny. The second blade punctured Katsnelson’s left lung and nicked his heart, and he staggered downstairs before collapsing on the sidewalk.
The Black Widow Pusepa is claiming that she was only defending herself, but she torpedoed her own story when she initially told police that Katsnelson had been stabbed by ‘some black man.’
A psycho and a racist, all in the same girlfriend? Katsnelson really knew how to pick ’em, didn’t he? At least he’ll have another chance to date non-psychos. Maybe the nude selfie chick is still into him? She should be easy to find, since he’s already got her digits.
