At Least Three Stabbed In Parking Dispute After Denver Loss. Go Broncos!

The allure of huge signing bonuses, fame and hordes of bootylicious bimbos doesn’t seem to inspire the ‘Citius, Altius, Fortius’ philosophy that athletics are supposed to promote. Not among the athletes, and certainly not for Justin Lee Manzanares. He’s in custody after allegedly stabbing three people during a parking dispute at Mile High Stadium on Thursday.

The home team Broncos had just lost to San Diego, 27-20, and it’s possible that tempers were running high when Manzanares’ car allegedly almost backed into another vehicle in the parking lot.

According to police, Manzanares drew a knife from a sheath on his belt and stabbed at least three victims in the ensuing melee. One victim was seriously injured, and a possible fourth victim may have been only slightly wounded and just went home. Numerous witnesses described the event to police, who initially took three people into custody. Two of them were released at the scene, but Manzanares was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.

I’m guessing it was the belt sheath that gave him away. I know some people consider folding knives to be fixed-blade knives that are already broken, but maybe ‘plausible deniability’ is a good reason to carry a folder with a pocket clip.

At least if you’re going to go berserk in a parking lot.
