Send your most caption worthy knife photo to the truthaboutknives@gmail.com

I do not want to beat on the law-abiding gun owners of Connecticut, I do not fault a man for deciding that the best course of action is to follow the law. One can work like hell to vote the bastards out of office. Or you can vote with your feet. As I am writing this safely ensconced in the gun and knife friendly confines of Tennessee, I will not be casting any stones.

Rory W sends us this picture which did remind me of the registration queue photograph though. That is no laughing matter, and we can discuss that hoplophobic nonsense if you wish in the comment section. This mini Editorial seemed appropriate in light of my title caption. But I don’t want to throw a wet blanket on the Caption This Contest, so caption early and often.

If Rory’s photo gets the most entertaining captions, he wins a limited edition CRKT Minimalist. Or you could win it by submitting a caption-inspiring photo of your own to thetruthaboutknives@gmail.com. Thanks.

  1. And the angel of the lord came unto me, snatching me up from my place of slumber.
And took me on high, and higher still until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself.
And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own mid west.
And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil.
One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear.
    And terror possessed me then.
    And I begged,
“Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?”
And the angel said unto me,
“These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!
You see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust.”
And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared,
“Hear me now, I have seen the light!
They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul!
    Damn you!
    Let the rabbits wear glasses!
    Save our brothers!”
