I like throwing knives. I like multitools. I have never imagined combining the two. And throwing in a “tobacco-pipe” as well. I am not sure that is what the inventor was smoking when he came up with the idea, but the finished result surprised me when I clicked the headline from Geekologie. Urchin Sky executed this unique idea better than I expected.
I wasn’t kidding when I said that one of the “tools” is a “tobacco” pipe. Others include a rangefinder window, bottle/can opener, fork, screwdrivers, and hex wrench cutout. Plus it is balanced for throwing.
“Milled from a single piece of 420 high-carbon stainless steel, Kniper features twenty-two tool functions, including a tobacco pipe. Built as a single monolith of steel means Kniper’s tools never remain hidden. Its shape, weight distribution, metal composition and color are all designed for the ultimate outdoor adventure. Kniper is 13 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 5.5 millimeters thick.”
I don’t imagine that this would be a part of my camping kit, especially since I don’t live in Colorado or Washington. However, I think it would be a riot to test. I don’t think I could bring myself to drop the $75 on it though.
