Sometime in the 10 o’clock hour this morning TTAK crossed the 3 million page-view mark. This is just 10 months and 6 days since we hit 2 million last November. Our top post all-time is Will Woods’ “Ask a Knifemaker: The Truth About Damascus” which has been responsible for more than 50k of those views alone. He also takes the #3 spot with “The Truth About Tantos. #’s 2&4 are “Know your Knife Laws” posts (MA & VA) by Editor Emeritus Chris Dumm, and I come in at #5 with the most-read knife review. My review of the Mora Bushcraft is just shy of 35k views.
Thank you to all of our readers. If not for you we would simply be banging away on our laptops. It is you all that have made TTAK the community that it has become. Your willingness to come back and visit us time and again has given us the credibility to attract the attention of makers, knife-company employees, and even a few industry legends.
It has been a heck of a ride. Thank you all for tagging along with us.
Editor’s Note: I appreciate peoples’ patience as I work my way through the last big guiding push of the season. I was out 4 days last week and have 4 more trips coming up this week and several more in the weeks after. I am not losing steam with the blog since I made a pledge to bump up my content output, rather I am baking cookies, resetting gear, and frantically trying to tie flies. My boxes are in rough shape at this point in the season. Oh, and attempting to spend time with and take care of my family as well. This last glut of trips will soon pass and I will be back to full steam. Or there will be a Government shutdown and I will lose all of my October trips for the second time in 3 years.
Stay tuned, and thanks for reading.
