Video: Making a Karambit from a lawnmower blade.

What I like about this video is that the only real specialty tool he uses is a propane torch with some ceramic blocks to trap the “heat” in his makeshift forge. Otherwise, most of the work is accomplished with an angle grinder. He makes it look so damn easy, it is hard not to want to try yourself.

    Just got round to watching this. In many ways it’s a very enticing video, he makes it seem easy and, as you suggested, very few specialty tools that would be a barrier (mentally and financially) to giving it a try at home yourself. Now I just have to wait for my lawn mover to pack up so I can harvest the blade!
