Word of advice: If the sycophants of the TSA give you a hall pass and tell you to go and ditch the knife that they caught you with in the security line, it is inadvisable to shove the knife in your underwear and try to get through security a second time. Just sayin….
Sean M. Curry is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, Port Authority spokesman Joe Pentangelo said. He had a small knife on him at the screening point around 1 p.m. and said he’d return to the airline and check the knife.
But when he came back to the security checkpoint and went through the body scanner, the alarm went off, Pentangelo said. During a pat-down an officer felt the knife and Curry admitted he’d concealed it, authorities said.
I am guessing that the knife was nothing special, not something expensive or fancy, and certainly not worth risking jail time to bring. Just pick something up at the other end. It just isn’t worth it.
