Knife Madness: Rain Delay?

As they say, “if something is worth doing, it is worth doing right”.

I am really proud of what we are putting together for our Final Four championship in our Knife Madness Tournament. Unfortunately, there are a few ducks that are not quite yet in a row.

In case you missed it, instead of head-to-head matches, we have pooled the Final 4: KA-BAR, Kershaw, Zero Tolerance, and Morakniv into a single contest with a two-day voting window. I will have plugs from some heavy hitting representatives of the 4 companies, Ethan Becker for KA-BAR, Les George for Kershaw, Jens Ansø for ZT, and Dave Canterbury for Morakniv. Instead of the “like/love” voting on Facebook, we are going to use an actual survey service to host the vote. That has not changed.

I have 3 of the 4 plugs in hand, but I am still waiting on the 4th, it isn’t important which one – he said he would do it and I am happy to give him more time. I could run some alternative quotes mined from the internet, but I’d rather just be patient.

I also asked our readers if they could provide us with a couple of sentences (along with a picture if you wish) if one has a strong favorite and experience with the products. So far only two folks have submitted plugs. One for KA-BAR and one for Kershaw. I figure I will give you all some more time as well. Please send any plugs or photos to thetruthaboutknives@gmail.com. I’d love at least one for each company, but that isn’t important. I have also pulled a few explanatory quotes from the comments in the original contests, so there is something for everyone.

I want thank everyone for your patience. I would also like to extend my thanks to Ethan, Les, Jens, and Dave. We’ll get this done. I just want to do it right.
