Man stabbed as machete-wielding moped-gang terrorizes London square.

A gaggle of moped-riding gangsters carried out a brazen assault in Central London today, leaving a man gravely injured after being slashed with a machete.

From DailyMailUK:

A gang of up to 20 youths on mopeds allegedly stabbed a man with a machete in Russell Square just before 8pm this evening.

Five police cars, an ambulance and a paramedic helicopter raced to the scene before police confirmed the incident was not terrorism.

Officers managed to catch and arrest one man as paramedics rushed his young victim to hospital.

Police put up a cordon around shops and restaurants in the area.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: ‘Police were called at approximately 7.45pm to reports of a number of people on mopeds involved in a disturbance in Brunswick Centre.

‘Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering a stab wound.

Moped attacks are a serious problem in London. In a situation more fitting the capital of a third-world country, muggings and other moped-related incidents number in the thousands. Katie Hopkins describes the situation thusly:

Moped muggers are gamers. They play their very own version of Pokemon Go. Let’s call it ‘Mugamon Go’. Instead of eggs, Poke Balls, berries and potions; they hunt phones, bags and wallets – for quick exchange on a market they know well.

But it’s the thrill of the chase that is everything. Recorded and played back to their mates for laughs.

Sometimes it is just a snatch and go, like the one above. However, there have been incidents like this one last month where hammers and other weapons are involved.

From Standard.co.uk:

“As the bike got closer it rode at me on the pavement, then whizzed past me on the inside next to the wall.

“The audacity of it was that another one turned up and then they went round the block and came back again tearing down Great Portland Street.

“When they came round the second time one of them brandished the hammer, like they didn’t want anyone to chase them or get close. It felt very brazen.”

BBC staff told the Standard that in recent months such incidents have become commonplace. Internal memos within the corporation have warned staff to be vigilant of the moped gangs.”

This is what happens to a population of sheep, with too few sheepdogs to protect them.

And the people are not allowed to oppose them. Force is only authorized to the police…and the criminals.
