I couldn’t really come up with a knife tie-in to the celestial event that is going to dominate my day tomorrow. The zone of totality passes just to the south of my home in Knoxville, the kids are off school, and we are heading down to my wife’s Aunt’s place for a day-long picnic and viewing party. It should be a fun day.
I have no idea what knife I will be carrying, whatever happens to be at hand when I get dressed in the morning. How about you?
I think this eclipse is just what this country needs right now. It is a chance for everyone to step back and do something together, instead of being at each other’s throats. Even if it is just for one day, I am looking forward to it.
