One from the Vault: Restoring a Belknap Primble Stockman slipjoint

As I mentioned the other night, I will be out of town when this goes live, and figured bringing back a post from our archives is not out of bounds for a Sunday afternoon. At the time of this writing, I just finished packing for my trip up to Cleveland, and included my Belknap John Primble Stockman in my bag.

Ohio’s knife laws suck, so it is an assortment of basic, non-threatening folders – my mini-Grip, Spydie Native, and the Belknap to put in my kilt’s sporran at the wedding. My Will Woods sgain dubh will be ready by Burns Night, but for now I am stuck with a glorified letter opener in my sock.

So without further ado, I bring you the story of restoring my 60’s vintage slipjoint…
