Nightly Knife Porn: BLADE Show Approacheth!

The biggest knife event of the year is a scant month away. On June 1st, Clay and yours truly will be scouring the Cobb Galleria to find the most exciting stuff from BLADE Show 2018! New products… industry gossip… handmade works of art… Bladesports… new trends… we’ll cover it all.

This is the point we want you to start getting ideas too. If there is anything you would like to see from the show, be sure to chime away in the comments below or send us an email at thetruthaboutknives@gmail.com

If you are on the fence about attending the show, I would encourage you to make the trip. For knife nuts like us, there truly is no place like it. In this internet age, there is no better opportunity to put your hands on things than in Atlanta, the first weekend of June.

The buildup has already begun of course. Today’s knife porn is brought to you by the hashtag bladeshow2018

First, something from our friend and contributor to this blog, Mr Todd Hunt of T.M Hunt Custom Knives, the Skelehawg will be making its debut… a skeletonized, hog-nosed version of his Magua with removable scales.

The highlight of BLADE Show 2017 (an original Colclesser Bros Kephart) is making its presence known this year as well. Our friend Dogwood Dan Eastland has made 10 knives that are the closest reproductions in existence of that original knife. One will be available for raffle at his booth.

This is going to be a common sight for all our knifemaker friends out there. Nose to the grinder and long hours being put in at L.T. Wright Knives!

Our pals from Smith and Sons will be there. If history is any indication, they will have the best lit booth on the floor.
