We’ve come to the end of Will’s Blade Show photobomb. He snapped pics of some pretty neat blades for us, including this vaguely zombie-themed offering from DPX Gear. Kudos to DPX for incorporating a modified Emerson opening hook which also opens beer bottles. Not that we recommend drinking and cutting . . .
These Microtechs look like props from the next Mass Effect videogame, and if they’re not automatics I really hope that thumb-stippling works as good as it looks. But what’s up with these multiple grind profiles, side-by-side on a single blade?
And continuing my science-fiction theme, this knife looks positively Klingon. Lieutenant Worf might use it to open his poscards from Mom.
I find this design absolutely stunning. It manages to combine Asian, futuristic and Steampunk motifs in one concept. I’m sure I can’t afford it, but, wow.
Yet more proof that 2013 is The Year Of The Flipper.
Yet more multi-grind knives. Maybe somebody can explain why I’d want a blade like this, and how the hell I’d sharpen it.
Mmm…Wilson Combat. ‘Nuff said.
