Two lobstermen were fishing off the coast of Maine when they came across a seal pup struggling with a net entanglement.
WCSH-TV reports that Jeremy Willey and Jeffrey Door were lobstering near Matinicus Rock off the coast of ME on Monday when they saw a baby seal floating in rope.
Willey, a fourth-generation lobsterman from Owl’s Head, spotted the trapped pup, pulled him aboard, carefully freed the pup and released it into the Atlantic.
The men hauled the pup aboard the boat shortly after, where they began cutting apart the nets with a knife.

It would be even cooler if they used a SEAL Pup. Very Meta.
