The July 2018 issue of Knife Magazine is set to hit mailboxes this week, and Mark is giving us a sneak peek of what’s inside this month’s issue.
With the ongoing volcanic activity on Hawaii’s Big Island, I am curious if the cover article was written recently enough to make mention of it. I can’t imagine that volcanoes in general don’t play into the mythos and lore of Hawaiian blacksmithing. The connection is too obvious. I look forward to reading it myself.
Of course there is more to each issue than the cover. There are the featured articles, including one on a little stag knife that I have handled personally.
And there are the regularly occurring columns including the always popular “What-Izzit”, and pieces by Knife Rights and AKTI.
Knife Magazine is only available in “Dead-Tree”, otherwise known as paper copy. You can subscribe here if you are so inclined.
