A fatal officer-involved shooting took place inside a Hollywood fast food restaurant after multiple stabbings were reported in the area, Los Angeles Police Department officials confirmed Tuesday.

The shooting was reported about 2 p.m. at the corner of Ivar Avenue and Sunset Boulevard, said LAPD Officer Aareon Jefferson.

CNN reporter Maeve Reston witnessed some of the chaos and said on Twitter that she saw a male suspect — who officers later shot — trying to stab people.

“Unclear how many stabbing victims there are, but suspect ran down Sunset Blvd. trying to stab people outside our CNN office in Hollywood,” Reston tweeted at 2:19 p.m.

The suspect was shot by police, and subsequently died of his injuries. No word yet as to motive.

I’m glad the cops got the guy, but as they say: “When seconds count, the police are just minutes away”. Stay safe folks.

Once again; the subjects of the People’s Republik of Kalifornia (PRK) unable to protect themselves due to the PRK’s idiotic gun laws. This crap doesn’t fly in AZ! You never know who is packing! Even the shits for brains know that.
