Happy Easter to those to whom it is appropriate. We usually try to do a holiday-themed knife post when applicable, thing is, there isn’t much in the way of a knife tie-in to the Easter Holiday. I know it is somewhat macabre, but as lamb is a traditional dish for Easter dinner, it is the best I can come up with. Besides, British butcher Scott Rea does some of the most informative and comprehensive butchery videos on YouTube.



Personally, I am a bigger fan of spit-roasting a whole lamb as opposed to breaking one down completely, though I haven’t done that in years.

If you have lamb stew-meat, The Blogfather, Glenn “Instapundit” Reynolds has a great recipe for Guinness Lamb Stew. I have been wanting to try it, but it is one of those recipes that I am likely to be the only one in my household that will eat it. I am not sure I can eat the entire dish myself, but I might just have to give it a go.

Since it is also “Sunday Funny” day, there is an element of dark-humor to including a video on how to butcher a rabbit as well.

I hope that this post doesn’t cause offense to anyone, that was not the intent in the slightest.
