Knife Intifada continues; “Not Terrorism” says Swedish Prime Minister

The Palestinian “government” continues its policy of inciting violence . In the process, the next generation of Palestinian children is taught to hate and kill. Israel is on the front lines of the fight against Islamism, and unlike most of the civilized world, they do not have their head in the sand regarding the threat that they face.

Europe, with the possible exception of France, who busted 3 radical mosques and seized enormous caches of weapons, not only remains blind to the threat but actually derides Israel in the process.

From Times of Israel:

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven further strained his country’s relationship with Israel Monday, saying he does not consider stabbing attacks in Israel to constitute terrorism.

No, it is not classified as [terrorism],” Lofven said in an interview to the Swedish news agency TT. “There is an international classification regarding what constitutes or does not constitute [terror]. As far as I know, the [knife attacks in Israel] are not defined as terror.”

He later partially walked-back the remarks, but really stepped in it more in my opinion.

“Later in the day, Lofven contacted TT again to clarify his message, fearing what he called a “misunderstanding.”

“I meant that it was unclear if the knife attacks are organized by a group classified as a terrorist organization,” Lofven told the agency. “Nonetheless, the attacks themselves do constitute terror.”

By that standard, the San Bernadino attacks might not be terrorism depending on how strong the connections were between the perpetrators and ISIS. That investigation continues.

Of course that is all coming from a man whose Foreign Minister accused Israeli civilians and soldiers who defend themselves from stabbing attacks of “conducting extra-judicial executions.”

Ending on a feel good note, here is a knife-wielding Palestinian getting ventilated. Prior to charging people with the knife, he rammed his car into two people, which ought to spark a debate in Israel over car-control.

  1. Sam L. says:

Lofven likely considers himself unlikely to be stabbed. He likely has bodyguards. Undoubtedly a multi-culti believer.

  2. Scott says:

While the question of whether or not these attacks are being organized or incited by a terrorist organization is valid, that is most definitely not what he was saying in his first remarks.
